I was given the privilege to design a visual brand identity for one of London’s Best Coffee Shops, Newton’s Coffee!
Located in Bank, London at St Mary's Woolnoth.
My goal with every piece I design is to create something that is timeless.
I collaborated with an amazing illustrator, Jodie Moss, to create the illustrations to complement the brand identity!
The shape of the logo resembles that of John Newton’s Memorial Stone. John Newton was the rector of St Mary’s. His story and song displays the amazing grace he experienced from God. From a deep involvement in the slave trade to his crucial role in the abolition movement - this coffee shop continues to role in fighting against modern day slavery that still exists today across the globe.
If you’re in the area, try their amazing coffee’s, like they say its “a small taste of Amazing Grace” ☕
